The Great Western Tube Float is
one of the greatest events of
the year! It has only grown
bigger and better with age, and
this years float looks to be no
different. Festivities get
under way on Friday night in
Lake Havasu at the Desert
Martini where participants share
stories over $2 schooners and
shuffleboard. After a few
hours of sleep participants
stock up on goods for the float
and head to the launch point in
Parker. Once all the tubes
are tied together and launched
the party really takes off, and
chances are you'll be drunk by
noon. After a day of
floating the party continues at
the finish line (blue water
casino) or back in LHC.
Just plan ahead and make your
reservations/plans accordingly.
